Don't let your child slide backward. Kip McGrath Chelmsford South is offering targeted summer tuition to keep students sharp, confident, and ready for the new school year — open to both existing Kip students and non-Kip students.
Programmes Offered

Whatever stage your child is at, our summer sessions are designed to keep them progressing.
Primary
Maths & English — building strong foundations and keeping core skills sharp ahead of the new school year.
11+ Prep
Maths & English — focused practice over the holidays to maintain momentum ahead of exam season.
Years 8–11
Maths, Science & English — staying on track and building confidence ahead of GCSE coursework and exams.
£39 per hour
Full flexibility — you only pay for the sessions you book.

Summer Schedule
A skeleton timetable runs through the summer holidays, with a special daytime schedule across four weeks.
Up to 18th July
Usual Times
Sessions continue to run at your usual scheduled times.
21 July – 11 August
Summer School (4 Weeks)
Special daytime sessions running on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
September
Back to Normal
The regular timetable resumes for all students.

How It Works
Whether you're new to Kip McGrath or an existing family, summer school works around you.
For Non-Kip Students
Welcome! Join us just for the summer to boost your child's skills — no long-term commitment required.
Existing Kippers — Option A
Keep your current schedule running as normal throughout the summer.
Existing Kippers — Option B
Boost learning by adding extra summer sessions on top of your usual schedule.
Existing Kippers — Option C
Take a break over the summer and return refreshed in September.

If your child is taking a break or changing weeks, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust your schedule and ensure you are not charged.
